The countdown for the 4th Edition of the Dialogues Author-Publisher has begun !

After three successful editions, the FEP’s Dialogues Author-Publisher are back and well on the way for a fourth promising edition. Due to the success of the previous years, FEP’s guests panel has been enlarged in order to present you, not with two, but three tandems author-publisher: one from the UK, one from France and one from Germany. Besides, three MEPs, one for each of the represented nationalities, have accepted to support the event. The aim of this unparalleled gathering is to foster a better understanding of the unique, complex and important relationship that exists between an author and a publisher so that, it enables, publishers and politicians alike, to keep supporting, together, a culturally rich and diverse Europe.

As a result, the FEP President, Mr Pierre Dutilleul, who will be hosting the event, invites you to meet with a set of prestigious guests.

Mary Honeyball (S&D), MEP and patron of the event, will see her country represented by the British novelist and multi-awarded author Jonathan Coe accompanied by his publisher Joanna Prior (Penguin Books).

The French patron of the event is MEP Jean-Marie Cavada (ALDE), whose country will be represented by the 2012 Goncourt Prize Winner Jérôme Ferrari and his publisher Marie-Catherine Vacher (Actes Sud).

Germany will also be represented by a multi-awarded author, who is also its most famous contemporary poet: Durs Grünbein. His publisher, Thomas Sparr (Suhrkamp Verlag) will complete the tandem while Sabine Verheyen (EPP), is the German MEP supporting the event.

Please note that interpretation will be provided in English, German and French.
