Interview of the European Union prize for Literature winners

On 18 April, at the London Book Fair, Rosie Goldsmith interviewed two of the European Union prize for Literature 2011 winners, the Latvian prose writer Inga Zolude and the Montenegrin author, activist and journalist Andrej Nikolaidis whose novel The Coming is published in English by Istros Books. The aim of the Prize and its impact on emerging literature was also debated by three of the 2011 EUPL winners Adam Foulds (UK), Andrej Nikolaidis (Montenegro) and Inga Zolude (Latvia) in a session chaired by Ann Branch of the European Commission in the Literary Translation Centre.
