Digital Single Market mid-term review

The European Commission is reviewing its digital single market strategy announcing three main areas where further action is needed:

1. The Data Economy including an initiative on accessibility and reuse of public and publicly funded data;
2. Online Platforms to address unfair contractual clauses and trading practices identified in platform-to-business relationships by the end of this year. It also intends to clarify the position on procedural practices (Notice and Takedowns) to remove illegal content;
3. Cybersecurity.
